Project Features:

This project involved the construction of a new 1.5km single lane carriageway 40% being constructed over an existing concrete road as constructed in 1939 for the service of the Royal Ordnance Factory which previously occupied the development during the second world war until 1999.

The remainder of the works consisted of the construction of roundabouts, footpaths and cycle ways, multiservices, street lighting and all associated landscaping works.

In addition to the above the main storm drainage system for the domestic parcel (circa 2000 units) and retail parcels consisted of 1.8km of 1200 diameter concrete pipe work laid at depths between 5.00m and 8.00m.

The project was completed on time and to the satisfaction of all interested parties.
